Matt Brusch, President & CEO of NIRI, The Association for Investor Relations

Matt was previously COO, led professional development programs, credentialing, publications and communications for NIRI. Prior to this, he led the investor relations and corporate communications functions for several public companies, and he served in regulatory and marketing roles with the Nasdaq Stock Market. Brusch began his career as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy and received the Navy Achievement Medal for superior performance. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland, a B.S. from the Pennsylvania State University, and he is a Certified Association Executive.

 

Roger, Pondel, CEO of PondelWilkinson Inc., a nationally recognized investor relations and strategic public relations advisory firm, which he has led since 1989. Early in his career, he was a reporter with the San Jose Mercury and was head of investor relations and corporate communications for several publicly traded corporations.

Roger leads communications programs for a wide range of organizations, from high-profile consumer companies to those in the healthcare, technology and industrial sectors, in all sizes and market caps. He has been involved in every aspect of investor relations, guiding pre public companies toward their IPOs, managing day-to-day IR programs and working closely with financial news media. Roger has been the architect of messaging strategy for corporate transformations, mergers and acquisitions, crises, litigation issues, and a host of sensitive matters, serving in advisory capacities to boards of directors and the executive suite.

Jack Howes, Regional Lead – Western US, New York Stock Exchange, the largest global equities exchange in the world. Jack is responsible for the listings relationships across 15 states in the Western US for the NYSE, supporting investor relations, finance, and marketing functions of NYSE-listed companies by providing trading analyses, peer comparisons, market updates, ESG perspectives, marketing opportunities, and communications consulting. Prior to this role, he covered listed companies in the Consumer Goods & Basic Materials verticals. Earlier in his career at the NYSE, Jack worked on the Capital Markets Team, where he pitched and executed IPOs, spin-offs and other new listings going public on the NYSE. He holds a BA in International Relations and Economics from Colgate University.
